COLOR & APPEARANCE CONTROLAnodized color and texture can vary with alloy, surface preparation, coating thickness and batch conditions. For appearance-critical parts, approved samples or visual standards can be used for comparison.
DIMENSIONAL EFFECTAnodizing adds coating thickness to the surface. Critical bores, threads, mating surfaces and tight-fit features may require masking, machining allowance or post-finishing verification.

COATING THICKNESS Coating thickness should be considered for threads, bores, bearing fits, sealing surfaces and other mating features. Masking, dimensional allowance or post-finishing verification may be required.

05Post-Finishing Dimensions
Rechecking critical fits, bores, threads and mating features after finishing where dimensional change is relevant.
06Handling & Protection
Inspection for scratches, contact marks and cosmetic damage, followed by suitable separation and packing.
Finish acceptance is based on the process-specific requirement—not one universal surface metric.
