WHAT WE INSPECT

Critical Dimensions

Critical lengths, diameters, depths and functional dimensions are inspected according to drawing requirements.

Hole Position & Geometry

Hole diameter, position, true position, coaxial relationships and hole-pattern relationships where required.

Threads & Mating Features

Internal and external threads, go / no-go verification, thread depth and mating fit where required.

Flatness, Perpendicularity & Runout

Geometric relationships including flatness, perpendicularity, runout and datum-related features.

Surface & Cosmetic Condition

Machining marks, scratches, dents, anodizing condition, coating appearance, color and cosmetic defects.

06

Assembly Fit

Verification of mating components, pins, shafts, bores, threads and other functional assembly relationships where required.

Complex geometry, datum relationships and positional accuracy.

Hole locations, step heights and datum-related measurements.

Micrometer & Caliper

Diameter, thickness, length and general dimensional inspection.

Go / no-go verification for applicable internal threads, external threads and holes.

Surface Roughness Tester

Surface roughness verification where a finish specification applies.

Inspection equipment and measurement methods are selected according to drawing requirements, feature geometry, tolerance and project quality requirements. Specific equipment availability is confirmed during review.

INSPECTION AFTER FINISHING

Surface finishing can change final dimensions, mating conditions and cosmetic appearance. Critical features may therefore require verification after finishing.

Anodizing, plating, paint and powder coating can affect final dimensions.

Threads, Bores & Fits

Threads, precision bores, press fits, locating surfaces and sealing features may require masking, allowance or post-finishing verification.

Check color, texture, gloss, scratches, water marks, coating defects and other appearance requirements based on project standards.

Final Fit & Assembly

Where functionally important, mating components can be checked again after finishing.

Critical features can be rechecked after finishing when final dimensions or fit are functionally important.
