Anodizing, plating, paint and powder coating can affect final dimensions.
Threads, precision bores, press fits, locating surfaces and sealing features may require masking, allowance or post-finishing verification.
Check color, texture, gloss, scratches, water marks, coating defects and other appearance requirements based on project standards.
Where functionally important, mating components can be checked again after finishing.
